All formats are audio only and need Pro. A complete conversation can finish earlier. Daily drills reset at midnight UTC.

GO PAST THE REHEARSED ANSWER
The first answer is just the start.
A useful follow-up asks for the part your story left out. Practise staying clear when the conversation takes a turn.
Speaking
AN ILLUSTRATIVE EXCHANGE
Interviewer
Tell me about a time you had to deliver a project that was at risk.
You
We were behind on the billing migration, so I pulled the team together and we shipped it.
Interviewer
What was your part, as opposed to the team's? And what was the result, in numbers?
You
I re-cut the scope to the two flows that carried 80% of revenue. We shipped on the original date.

The follow-up helps you show what you did, and what changed.
BUILT FROM YOUR OWN MATERIAL
Your experience comes into the room.
Your resume
Choose a resume so the interviewer can ask about your roles, responsibilities and the numbers you supplied.
Your Story Bank
Bring the stories you have prepared. Follow-ups explore your decisions, your contribution and the gaps in your answer.
Your company preparation
Your listening history and available company research help shape relevant practice. Exact employer questions are not promised.
SOMETHING YOU CAN USE AFTERWARDS
See what worked. Know what to work on next.
The 20- and 45-minute formats include the full report below, with STAR rewrites you can save. A five-minute drill gives you delivery numbers and one fix, without a rewrite. Take that fix into your next drill.
FICTIONAL REPORT EXCERPT
An example, not a customer’s report. In this example, the resume supplies the product role, the Story Bank supplies the responsibility, and the spoken answer supplies the decision and result. Missing facts stay marked for the candidate to add.
Your decision is clear. Make the stakes clear too.

Strong
You explained how you reduced the scope. Add the business risk and your responsibility before describing that decision.
What worked
A specific decision, with a reason
I re-cut the scope to the two flows that carried 80% of revenue.
The STAR grid
situation
Explain what was at risk if the migration slipped.
task
Name the outcome you were personally responsible for.
action
I re-cut the scope to the two flows that carried 80% of revenue.
result
We shipped on the original date.
A STAR version of your answer, from your own facts
situation
Our billing migration was behind schedule. [Add what a delay would have meant for the business.]
task
As the product manager, I needed to bring the release back onto its agreed date.
action
I compared the flows by revenue and reduced the release to the two that carried 80%. I aligned the team around that smaller scope.
result
We shipped those flows on the original date. [Add what you measured after launch, if you have it.]

How you said it
You paused before naming your decision. That gave the answer a clear turning point.
Your opening used “we”. Follow it with your own responsibility so the listener can separate your work from the team’s.
FROM PREPARATION TO PRACTICE
Bring your experience. Say it out loud.
01
Pick your format and role
Choose a drill, a one-story deep dive or a full interview. Pick a company or practise for any employer, then add your role.
02
Prepare your interviewer
Choose your materials and voice. Preparation usually takes about two minutes. Check your microphone and give recording consent before you start.
03
Say your answer out loud
Answer questions and follow-ups shaped by your format. Pause when you need a moment. A complete conversation can finish earlier.
04
Read your report
Drills give you delivery numbers and one fix. Deep dives and full interviews add detailed feedback and STAR rewrites. You can leave and come back.
Questions before you start
Is it recorded?
Yes, with your consent in the microphone check before you start. Audio only, no video. We use it to write your report and delete the audio after 30 days. Your transcript and report stay until you delete the interview or close your account.
Is it a real person?
No. It is an AI interviewer, and it will say so if you ask. It asks questions and follow-ups for practice. It does not represent an employer or make hiring decisions.
How long is it?
Choose five minutes for a drill, 20 minutes for a one-story deep dive, or up to 45 minutes for a full interview. These are practice targets. A complete conversation can finish earlier; you do not need to fill the clock. Read how to practise out loud.
How are drills different?
A drill focuses on one competency and gives you delivery numbers and one fix, without a STAR rewrite. Pro includes 3 drills a day, resetting at midnight UTC, with no credit charge. A 20-minute deep dive covers one story with detailed follow-ups and a full report. It uses 1 credit from the same balance and packs as a 45-minute interview.
What does it cost?
Pro includes 1 interview credit each month for a 20- or 45-minute interview, plus 3 five-minute drills a day. Packs of 3 more credits work for either 20- or 45-minute interviews. Credits never expire.
Can I pause?
Yes. Press “I need a moment” or say it. The interview clock stops for up to five minutes in total.
What if my microphone fails?
Check your microphone and hear a short recording before you start. If your connection drops, you have one minute to rejoin the same interview.
Which companies can I practise for?
Choose a company from our catalog, type a company and role, or practise for any company. We use available research to choose relevant competencies and questions. This is practice, not a prediction of an employer’s exact questions or format.
Do I see the questions in advance?
No. You see the competencies before you start. Your resume and Story Bank help you prepare, but the questions and follow-ups arrive in the conversation.
