Product manager · Turning complex work into clear next steps

A MORE PERSONAL INTRODUCTION

Dear hiring team,

The best part of my work is helping a team find a clear path through a complicated problem. That is what draws me to this product role.

In my last launch, I brought design and engineering together around a shared release plan. We cut handoff delays by 30% and shipped on our revised date.

I would welcome the chance to bring that approach to your team.

SOMETHING MORE PERSONAL

Show why your experience belongs in this role.

A cover letter gives you space to connect the dots. Start with your completed resume, then shape the message for this application.

Make your case with real experience

The letter uses your resume and supporting details. Claims are checked against that source material for you to review.

Make the letter sound like you

Ask for a warmer opening, a shorter draft, or more focus on a project. Add the personal context only you know.

Send a matching resume and letter

Your letter shares your resume’s typography and accent. Download both as PDF or editable Word files.

Questions before you start

Do I need a resume in Resume Studio first?

Yes. Start by writing a resume in Resume Studio, or open one you have already written. The cover letter is created from that resume and its target role, job posting, and supporting details.

Can I ask for a different tone or emphasis?

Yes. Give a change request in plain words. You can make the introduction more direct, focus on a particular project, or add a detail about your interest in the role.

Can I download the letter?

Yes. Download PDF and Word files. The letter uses the resume’s template, font, margins, and accent so your application materials look like they belong together.

Is it part of Pro or a separate purchase?

It is included in Resume Studio with Star Interview Pro. Writing or rewriting a cover letter uses your refinement allowance. The same applies to a LinkedIn headline and About section.
