Community and Stewardship — United Way, Special Olympics, and Publix Serves

"Involved as Responsible Citizens in our Communities" is one of Publix's five core values, and it's not lip service. Publix donated $52.1M to United Way in 2022 alone, has given over $81M to Special Olympics since 1993, and runs twice-yearly "Publix Serves" volunteer weeks (7,000+ associates volunteered for 150+ projects in just the first 2025 week). This module covers Publix's philanthropic and community work in detail and gives candidates the language to talk about community involvement authentically.
