Going Live -- How Netflix Built a Live Streaming Platform for 100 Million Devices

This module covers Netflix's massive engineering challenge of building live streaming infrastructure from scratch, including the Netflix Live Origin server, the Open Connect CDN adaptations, and the technical innovations required to deliver content to over 100 million devices in under one minute. For engineering candidates, this is a goldmine of system design knowledge that directly maps to the types of questions Netflix asks in interviews, particularly around scale, availability, and real-time infrastructure.
