This module traces Hudson River Trading's journey from three Harvard/MIT graduates pooling modest savings in a lower Manhattan office in 2002 to becoming one of the world's most profitable trading firms with $12.3 billion in net trading revenue in 2025. Candidates will understand HRT's founding philosophy of "built by coders, led by coders," the three-partner leadership structure, and why HRT calls its traders "Algorithm Developers" -- a title that reveals everything about the firm's identity.
